I don't like to admit it but we are a small work. Circumstances, Providence - have brought us to a season where we have very few children and most of the time, those who teach, prepare for an empty classroom on Sunday morning..
SO, we planned a VBS! Crazy, right? But my loyal church family heard me say, "Forward" and they responded. Material ordered, teachers volunteered, decorations [such decorations!] were put up, wonderful snacks/treats were created (and presented with style), and I did my usual thing - created a Puppet stage and led the team of 5 faithful teens in putting an a well written puppet script [almost as good as the ones my son, Joel Worrall, would create].
We did all we this and pleaded for everyone to pray for VBS.
Then waited. I told we had a high of 8 children. (Nothing like the good old days back in Springboro, where we would regularly get 120 PLUS adults!
)
BUT - and this is the best part. One little girl asked Jesus to be her Savior!
I WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN FOR ONE MORE!
